Kathmandu: Bishesh Lama scored the solitary goal as Saraswati Youth Club edged Chysal Youth Club 1-0 in Martyr Memorial B Division Football League on Thursday at Anfa Complex Satdobato.

It was a morale boosting victory for the Koteshwar based side who faced a controversial three points deduction. The football governing body All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has not said anything officially in this matter.

Saraswati posted six points in the table following a win after five successive defeats. Bidesh found the net in the 28th minute. Chysal remained at 11 points.

In the early kickoff, Sandeep Limbu scored a brace as Bansbari defeated Naya Basti 2-0. Sandeep opened the account in the 69th minute and ensured victory with second goal in the stoppage time. Bansbari have 12 points while Naya Basti are struggling on five points.
