Nepal drawn with Myanmar, Oman in AFC U-17 Qualifiers
Kathmandu: Nepal have been drawn alongside hosts Myanmar, Oman, Afghanistan, and Syria in Group ‘G’ of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Qualifiers set to take place from November 22 to 30.
In the draw held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a total of 38 teams were divided into seven groups– three consisting of six teams and four comprising five teams. The Qualifiers will be contested in a single round-robin league format.
All seven group winners will progress to the 21st edition of the finals in Saudi Arabia where they will join the nine Asian teams qualified for 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup set to take place in Qatar. The automatically qualified sides include Qatar, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, North Korea, Japan, Tajikistan, the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia.
The finals will be held from May 7 to 24 next year.
