Nepal’s T20 series against India A postponed
Kathmandu: Nepal’s T20 series schedule for December has been postponed for now after Nepal was declared the host of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced that the Qualifier Play-off will be held in Kathmandu from December 4 to 21.
As a result, the three-match series between Nepal and India A, originally scheduled for December 9, 11 and 13, will be rescheduled.
According to CAN, the revised dates will be announced following mutual agreement with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off will feature eight teams: the bottom four teams in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 —Namibia, Nepal, Canada and UAE, along with the top two teams each from the ICC CWC Challenge League A and B.
The top four teams from the playoffs will qualify for the 50-over ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier, scheduled to be held in South Africa and Namibia in 2027.
