Goalkeeper Kiran named IT Sutra’s brand ambassador
Kathmandu: US-based IT Sutra Inc has appointed Nepal national men’s football team captain and goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong as its brand ambassador.
The IT consulting company which has been delivering innovative solutions in the technology sector for the past 11 years, signed a three-year deal with Kiran worth Rs3 million.
Kiran and the company’s CEO Pankaj Shrestha inked the deal on Monday,
“Kiran Chemjong is not only a star on the football field but also a source of inspiration for Nepali youth everywhere. His unwavering dedication align perfectly with our company’s core values. This is not merely a commercial agreement but a shared commitment to elevate Nepali talent in both technology and sports,” CEO Shrestha said after the signing.
Kiran is currently in the United States. He has been serving as the first choice goalkeeper of Nepal for over a decade ans is the first Nepali footballer to reach 100 international appearances.
He has also played professional football in India and the Maldives. Additionally, he has featured in Nepal’s premier division football league representing Three Star Club and Machhindra Club. He has also played in the Nepal Super League from Dhangadhi FC.
