Nepal ‘A’ squad announced for Oman, Scotland and US fixtures

Kathmandu: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Monday announced a 32-member Nepal ‘A’ squad for a matches against Oman, Scotland and the United States (USA), scheduled from April 22 to May 11.

According to a press statement issued by CAN, Nepal ‘A’ will play two matches each against the three teams at the Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground. All matches will be played in the 50-over format.

Raju Basnyat has been appointed as head coach with Prakash Sharma serving as assistant coach.

Meanwhile, Nepal’s national team is set to host the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 tri-series featuring Nepal, the UAE and Oman at the TU Cricket Ground from April 25 to May 5.

Nepal will also host another League 2 tri-series involving the USA and Scotland at the TU Cricket Ground from May 12 to 22.

Oman, Scotland and the USA are playing against Nepal ‘A’ as part of their preparations for the League 2 fixtures.
