Kathmandu: The subscription campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to kick off on June 11, has officially begun in Nepal.

S Pro Media, the official broadcaster of the tournament in Nepal, announced the launch of subscription packages for both television and OTT platforms.

The television package is priced at Rs 999, while the mobile-only package costs Rs 549. Viewers wishing to watch matches on both mobile and laptop devices can subscribe to a combined package for Rs 999.

The World Cup will be broadcast exclusively on the Himalaya Sports television channel, with digital streaming available through the DGO App. S Pro Media said FIFA has granted it exclusive broadcasting rights for Nepal, meaning foreign television channels and streaming platforms will not be permitted to air the tournament within the country.

Subscribers will have access to all 104 matches of the World Cup.

According to S Pro Media, television viewers can subscribe by scanning the QR code displayed on the Himalaya Sports channel screen and completing the payment through a digital wallet. The package can also be purchased directly through digital payment platforms such as Khalti and eSewa.

For viewers opting to watch on mobile phones or laptops via the DGO App, subscriptions can be purchased through Khalti or eSewa after downloading and registering on the app.
