CAN name 20-member national squad for closed camp of Hong Kong tour
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has named a 20-member squad for the training camp ahead of the Four Nations T20 Cup, organized by Cricket Hong Kong.
The closed training camp will begin on April 2 in Bhairahawa, where the team will prepare for the tournament scheduled from April 9 to 13.
Nepal’s fixtures include matches against Qatar on April 9, Kuwait on April 10, and hosts Hong Kong on April 12. The top two teams from the league round will progress to the final and bottom two will vie for third-place, both of which will take place on April 13.
Key players Anil Shah and Sandeep Lamichhane have been ruled out due to injuries. Rohit Paudel will lead the team as captain.
CAN has named Australian Stuart Law as head coach of the national squad on Friday following the departure of Monty Desai.
