Kathmandu: Shree Kumari Club took another giant step towards survival with a 2-0 win over Naya Basti Youth Club in Martyrs Memorial ‘B’ Division League at Anfa Complex Satdobato on Sunday.

Shree Kumari climbed out of the relegation zone with back to back wins earning six points from as many games.

Sajan Rana and Yaman Maharjan were on target either side of half time for Shree Kumari.  Naya Basti, who faced their third defeat, have five points.

In the second game, Hit Bahadur Gurung scored the only goal of the game in the 85th minute as Madhyapur Association defeated Saraswoti Youth 1-0. Madhyapur collected seven points after their second win. Saraswati suffered their fourth defeat in a row and remained at 6 points. Planning Boys lead the standings with 15 points from five games.
