Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Club suffered a 3–0 loss to hosts Nasaf FC in their opening match of the AFC Women’s Champions League preliminary stage on Monday.

The Group ‘B’ encounter, played under the floodlights at Markaziy Stadium in Qarshi, Uzbekistan, saw APF concede all three goals in the first half. Uzbek international Diyorakhon Khabibullaeva netted twice in quick succession, scoring in the 13th and 16th minutes. Maftuna Shoyimova added a third in the 33rd minute to seal the victory for Nasaf.

APF will look to bounce back in their second group match against Thailand’s College of Asian Scholars, scheduled for Thursday.
