Playing all matches at Wankhede big advantage for Nepal, says captain Rohit

Nepal captain Rohit Paudel believes playing all their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup group matches at the Wankhede Stadium provides his team with a significant advantage.

Nepal, placed in Group C, are scheduled to play all four of their group fixtures at the Mumbai venue.

After posting 180 runs in their chase of 185 against England, Nepal fell just four runs short in their opening match despite an impressive performance.

When asked whether playing at Wankhede was advantageous, Rohit replied: “It is a big advantage to play at Wankhede. Playing in Asian conditions suits us. Having all our matches at the same venue is favourable considering the way we play.”
