Cricketer Dipendra Singh Airee sets second world record
Kathmandu: Nepali national cricket team all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee has set second world record in T20 Internationals.
Airee set the record of playing without being duck out for 66 innings, the highest number of innings, in T20 Internationals during Hong Kong Quadrangular Twenty20I Series match against Kuwait on Thursday.
West Indies’ Marlon Samuels previously held the record without being duck out for 65 consecutive matches.
Coming to bat at number five, Airee scored 31 runs off just 12 balls. Nepal won the match by six wickets.
Dipendra also holds the record for the fastest half-century in T20 Internationals. He scored a fifty in just 9 balls against Mongolia in the Asian Games in 2023.
