Chun Ho Mak wins NRC Multicultural table tennis
Kathmandu: Chun Ho Mak claimed the open singles title of the NRC Multicultural Table Tennis Tournament 2026 held at Nam Ho Table Tennis Academy in Sydney, Saturday.
Mak defeated Ryan Barman while Geoff Chan secured the second runner-up position.
Sandeep Sharma won the beginners’ category, followed by Sanjay Yadav and Kishan Devkota in second and third, respectively.
In the kids under-12 category, Shriya Vyshakh claimed the title while Avi Chalise finishing runner-up and Aayan Barman third.
Nayan Barman won the veterans 45+ category. Chetman Gurung and Sailen Joshi finished second and third, respectively.

Barman also partnered with Ryan Barman to win the open doubles title. Sangam and Sagun finished second, while Mithilesh and Fawzi were third.
Organised by the Nepali Recreation Club (NRC), Pawan Soti and Abhaya Phuyal
with the support of Expert Education and Visa Services, the tournament featured 39 players from different countries and communities across five categories.
NRC President Sanjay Shrestha thanked the players, organisers and volunteers for their contribution.
NRC has also completed tennis, badminton and golf tournaments in recent months, while its swimming tournament is scheduled for next month.
