Annapurna RCT hands over responsibilities to newly elected executive committee

Kathmandu: A newly elected executive committee of Annapurna Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) was handed over responsibility on Sunday.

RCT, six time winners of the Martyrs Memorial A Division League, had unanimous elected new executive committee under leadership of Rajesh Shrestha on Saturday.

Outgoing president Suresh Kaji Shakya officially handed over the leadership to newly elected president Shrestha. The new committee also announced outgoing president Shakya as the chief patron of RCT, currently playing the second division football in Nepal.

The new team includes Kumar Rajbhandari, Narendra Bahadur Shrestha, and Rabin Maharjan as vice presidents, Rajendra Prasad Shrestha as secretary, Ashok Manandhar as deputy secretary and Naresh Baidya as treasurer.

Chanjeg Lal Shrestha, Yagya Ratna Tuladhar, Dinesh Shrestha, Amulya Manandhar, Ram Chandra Shrestha, Buddha Ratna Maharjan, and Santosh Tuladhar are members. Yogesh Kumar Khadgi will serve as an ex-officio member.

RCT also honored individuals who contributed for the establishment of the club’s museum.

Established in the year 1989 BS (1932 AD),  RCT is known as one of the most successful football clubs in Nepal.
