Kathmandu: E-Sports Association of Nepal (ESAN) is set to organise the ESAN Asian Pubg Championship from May 9 to 11 featuring teams from 13 Asian countries. 

Organising a press conference in the capital on Sunday, ESAN president Anjan Dhamala said that the event was part of the annual calendar of the Association. The event to be organised virtually will see participation of three teams of Nepal including DRS, Horaa esports and NEPX  esports . 

Teams representing Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Jordan, Syria, Laos, Lebanon, Mongolia, Sri Lanka and the Maldives will compete virtually. 

Big Brackets esports will take care of technical aspects of the championships.      

The Asian level game, included in the annual plans and policies of the government, is expected to cost Rs3.2 million. The event carries a total cash prize of Rs1 million with the top six teams getting prize money.
