Kathmandu: All Nepal Table Tennis Association (ANTTA) is set to organise South Asian Regional Youth Table Tennis Championships from April 24 to 27 in Kathmandu.
Organising a press conference in Kathmandu on Tuesday, general secretary Kuber Prakash Singh said that the event will see participation of six South Asian countries including hosts Nepal, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and the Maldives.
Youth players of U-19 and U-15 age groups will compete in boys and girls’ sections. The players will vie for a total of 14 golds in the singles, doubles, team event and mixed doubles.
Altogether 85 players will compete in the event including 16 players from Nepal. The Championships is being organised as part of Asian Table Tennis Union annual program.
