Kathmandu: Sarthak Khel Sansar on Thursday announced to organise Nepal Youth Games 2082 comprising six games  in the capital from November 29 to December 6. 

Organising a press conference in the capital, Sarthak president Susan Dulal said the non government organisation, primarily focused on sports activities will organise under 15 age group games in football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, athletics and E-Sports in both boys’ and girls’ sections. 

“This year we will organise an inter-province event in the five different sports after selecting players from all seven provinces,” said Dulal, adding that they were also planning to run sports academies in all seven provinces of the country.  

Dulal said that they would organise games at the central level from next year following selection events at all 77 districts and seven provinces on an annual basis with a long-term vision of 10 years.

“The players selection process for this year’s event will begin from next week. The main motive of the event is to find hidden talents and provide them proper training and exposure,” said Dulal. 

The annual budget of the event is Rs20 million.
