Naasa Securities partners with Pulsar Sports Award as official trading partner
Kathmandu: Naasa Securities has joined hands with the NSJF Pulsar Sports Award 2081 as the official share trading partner for the 22nd edition of the annual event set to take place in Pokhara, Kaski, on September 14.
Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) President Niranjan Adhikari and Naasa Securities Managing Director Madan Paudel inked the deal on behalf of their respective organisations.
Expressing happiness over the collaboration, Paudel said, “We are thrilled to be partnering with country’s one of the most prestigious sports award programs. It is especially exciting that this year’s ceremony is being held outside Kathmandu for the first time. We wish the event great success.”
According to the NSJF, preparations for the award ceremony were undergoing rapidly.
The Sports Award features 10 categories including male, female and youth players of the year along with coach of the year and peoples’ choice award. NSJF has already announced five nominees each in the five categories and winner of each category will be announced during the award ceremony.
The winner of the people’s choice award will be determined through a combination of digital voting via Khalti, likes on the official Facebook pages of the NSJF Pulsar Sports Award and Pulsar Nepal, and pointed awarded by head coaches from sports associations affiliated with the Nepal Olympic Committee and NSJF members. Winners in the other categories will be selected by a NSJF selection committee.
Additionally, the event will honor individuals and teams with para athlete honor, special award, lifetime achievement award, team of the year, and Asian sports journalist award. These categories will not have nominees and the winners will be announced directly during the ceremony.
Winners of the male, female, youth, coach of the year and people’s choice award will each receive a Pulsar motorbike while winners of other categories will get cash prize of Rs 100,000 each.
