RCT Annapurna’s football training concludes
Kathmandu: A 30-week football training program for age-group players concluded on Sunday.
Annapurna RCT organised the training with the aim of producing quality young players. Altogether 71 players, including 22 girls, took part in the program.
The training sessions were held at the Lainchaur ground in collaboration with Lainchaur Youth Club. Coaches Mrigendra Mishra, Arjun Lama, Suresh Shahi and Rajiv Shahi jointly conducted the sessions.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City–27 provided support to run the program.
According to program coordinator Ashok Manandhar, such long-term training initiatives will help produce the age-group players needed in Nepali football. He added that they plan to continue organising similar program regularly.
