National Sport Climbing Championship in March

KATHMANDU: Nepal Climbing Sport Association (NCSA) has announced to organise National Sport Climbing Championship 2025 on March 21 and 22 in Thamel, Kathmandu.
Organising a press conference, NCSA President Ramesh Paudel said that the primary aim of this annual competition is to promote the sport of climbing, adventure sports, and sports tourism in Nepal. The two-day competition will feature two categories including lead and boulder in both men’s and women’s divisions.
According to the NCSA the championship will be held with appropriate safety measures in place, including insurance coverage for participants and technical officials.
The key objectives of the championship are to uplift the morale of athletes and technical staff, foster the development of sport climbing, and contribute to the promotion of adventure sports in the country.
Participants aged 14 and above will be eligible to contest in the event. The organisers have expected participation of at least 60 climbers.
