Kathmandu: The first general assembly of the Bagmati Province Baseball and Softball Association unanimously elected a new committee under the presidency of Dhruba Kumar Rijal.

The newly elected office bearers include vice presidents Prabodh Lama (Wang) and Niraj Bhattarai, secretary Subas Subedi, deputy secretary Sange Lama, treasurer Sugam Pathak and members Bidhan Rijal, Rabindra Khadka, Sushil Bhattarai, Prashanna Pathak, Roman Shrestha, Smoth Adhikari and Keshav Gautam.

Rabi Maharjan, member of the Bagmati Province Sports Council, was the chief guest of the general assembly while Nepal Baseball and Softball Association President Dipak Neupane attended as the special guest.
