Kathmandu: Greenfield International College will face off against Xavier International College in the semi-final of the HISSAN Central Inter College Basketball Championships as they both registered victories in their quarterfinal games played on Tuesday. 

The other semi-final will feature Capital College and Research Centre (CCRC) and Golden Gate International.

In the first quarter-final played at the National Sports Council covered hall, Greenfield pulled off a 63-51 victory over Bernhardt College riding on 17 points of Sonam Syangbo Lama. Xavier registered a comfortable 69-35 victory over Herald International College. Ashim Thapa contributed 12 points for the winning team.  

Golden Gate registered a thumping 67-42 victory over Kathmandu World School. Golden Gate’s Dibash Bhujel scored the highest 17 points. CCRC defeated Laligurans College with 72-44 with Suresh Magar contributing 20 points.

The semifinals and final matches will take place on Wednesday.
